Marcia Harvey

Marcia Harvey, an African-American writer, is known for her ex-wife comedian and TV host Steve Harvey. She has decided to stay far from the scrutiny of the media, she leads an extremely private life. Although Steve had not yet reached anywhere in the same level of success that he has today the couple was married for fourteen years. The reason for the split is not known. the split, however Hollywood has heard of rumors about the split. Some claim that Steve Harvey is cheating while others blame him for choosing comedy as his field of work. The tragic story of her life can be traced back to the circumstance that Steve abandoned her and his two daughters, while she was expecting their third baby. Despite the hardships she has faced she has carved out a successful career in fashion design and writing. Her books include "Marcia Eyes To The Soul", "Marcia" and "Marcia Poems From The Heart". Children are inspired by her kindness and generosity. Marcia Harvey was born to an African-American family. They weren't wealthy. She started her career in the department store "Saks Fifth Avenue". Steve was introduced to her by a close friend's wedding reception. They fell in love and were married in 1980. Steve was an insurance professional in the year 1980. The couple was blessed with twin daughters in 1982. Steve started to feel depressed at his job and decided to pursue a career in the field of entertainment. He hoped to be a stand-up comic. This created a lot of friction between him as well as Marcia and later reports suggested that they were beginning to split up in 1990. Marcia Harvey's fame came primarily due to her marriage Steve Harvey, and their divorce. Although their divorce proceedings in 1994 were secret but it's evident that Marcia Harvey was pregnant with their third child at the time they split up. Marcia ultimately filed for divorce in 1993. Following the divorce, and Steve Harvey's refusal to pay alimony and child support, Marcia was forced to take legal action.
