Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 7, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III (a theatre actor as well as writer and director) is her father. Sara Wood Wood is her mother, as well as an actress. Her older brothers include Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who have also been actors. Evan as well as her brothers appeared in the Theatre In The Park, Raleigh, where her father is the director. The actress also received acclaim for her stunning performance in the role of Stephanie the estranged Mickey Rourke's daughter in Darren Aronofsky's The Wrestler (2008). She is the daughter of Ira David Wood III and Sara Wood. Ira David Wood III's younger sister. She is a certified dancer. She loves dancing or sing, play the rollblade and horseback ride. She is a black belt in tae-kwon do. She keeps in touch with a lot of her Once and Again (1999 castmates: Mischa Barrton, Julia Whelan and Shane West.
