Alison Doody

Alison Doody is an Irish model and actress. Born on November 11, 1966. Following her film debut with a small part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she went on to portray the an archaeologist who is sympathetic to Nazis, Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan was in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. A photographer approached Doody. Doody decided to take up modeling that eventually led to the profession of commercial modeling. Doody was determined to steer clear of glamour and nude roles, which was a principle she applied in her acting. Doody was offered a tiny role in the film Jenny Flex for 1985's A View to a Kill following the fact that she was spotted by the director who cast her. Doody was named one of the top 12 promising young Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Vol. 38. Doody is only 18 at the time she played Doody in the film A Prayer for the Dying (1987) which starred Mickey Rourke. Doody is the tiniest Bond Girl to date. The year 1987 was the time Mickey Rourke starred in A Prayer for the Dying in which she portrayed IRA member Siobhan Doovan. Doody was unspoken as Archibald Craven's spouse Lilias when she appeared in his dream, 1987's adaptation to The Secret Garden. She played Sapsorrow in the Jim Henson's fantasy series The Storyteller, opposite John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. The actress starred alongside Pierce Brosnan as Dr. Elsa Schneider, an Austrian Nazi sympathiser and a forensic archaeologist in the 1989 movie Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Doody played the role with Sean Connery, who played the character's father. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was inspired by The Hitler Diaries publishing scam. Then she moved to Hollywood. She was replaced by Cybill Shepherd as the L'Oreal spokesperson's part. She then played Flannery Sheen's wife and agent, opposite Charlie Sheen, as Major League II became available in 1994. After nearly a decade from screen Doody came back to acting, and acted in a tiny role in 2003's British comedy film The Actors with Michael Caine acting as herself in an awards ceremony scene. In 2004, Doody starred in a scene with Patrick Swayze alongside a TV adaptation to King Solomon's Mines. Also Doody was in Benjamin's Struggle (2005), an essay on the Holocaust. In 2010, Doody was a character of Danny Dyer's movie The Rapture (2010). Doody was a guest on RTE's medical drama The Clinic. The project was later shelved. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014 she starred in We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria tierra de film award was presented to her on the 21st of November, 2018. The actress also was given a star at the Almeria Walk of Fame.
