Anna Kendrick

Anna Kendrick was the daughter of Janice Cooke, a bookkeeper, as well as William Kendrick (a teacher). Michael Cooke Kendrick, her older brother, has also performed. She is from English, Irish, and Scottish descent.For her role as "Dinah" in "High Society" on Broadway, Anna Kendrick was nominated for a Tony Award (second youngest ever) in addition to an award from the Drama Desk Award, and she was awarded a Fany Award (best actress featured in the musical). Her stunning performance earned her Theatre World Award and Drama League Award. She was also a member of Cabaret’s Kit Kat Club at "Carnegie Hall Live", in Great Performances, My Favorite Broadway: the Leading Ladies (1999). (TV).
