Alison Doody

Alison Doody, born 11 November 1966 in Ireland, is a model and actor. After making her film debut with a tiny part in Bond film A View to a Kill (1985) she was later cast to portray the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989). Siobhan Doovan portrayed Charlotte as Taffin in 1988 and Rebecca Flannery starred in Major League II in 1994. Doody started modeling after being approached by an experienced photographer. The result was an impressive career as a commercial model. Doody was averse to glamour and nude work, a rule that she incorporated into her acting. After being spotted by to the director of casting for the upcoming James Bond film she accepted an unimportant role as Jenny Flex in 1985's A View to a Kill. In November 2018 she was awarded the Almeria tierra de Cine Award and was awarded a Star on the Walk of Fame in Almeria.
