Aisha Jamila Hinds is a famous American actress. Her fame is due to the roles she played in TV series The Shield, and True Blood. She has demonstrated her versatility since 2003 by delivering amazing performances on television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. First noticed in 2005 for her role as Anna, as seen as part of Assault on Precinct 13 But it was her portrayal of the women's rights campaigner Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally brought her recognition as an actor. Hind was also praised for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television have renewed the show's third season.
